The anti-bullying policy and procedures used in the school are outlined in this document. We detail the different types of bullying, procedures for investigating & dealing with bullying, initiatives to counteract bullying and sanctions against those who engage in bullying behaviour.

Discipline Policy / Code of Behaviour

This document deals with the discipline policy and code of behaviour at the school. We detail the school rules and procedures covering areas such as attendance, punctuality, learning, homework, school uniform and school property. The various procedures, sanctions for breaches of school rules as well as appeals mechanisms are outlined.

Child Safeguarding Statement

This document goes through the child safeguarding statement at the school. We outline St. Brigid's commitment to recognising that the safeguarding and welfare of children is of paramount importance. We also address the importance of awareness of the issues, procedures related to it and forms of unacceptable behaviour. There is also a list of key contacts for child protection given in the document.

Internet Safety

This document goes through the benefits of internet usage, the strategies put in place to protect students from inappropriate material and the usage of internet to maximise learning opportunities. The different aspects of the internet and their implications to safety are explored such as e-mail, internet chat and filtering software.
